Has Lisa Scott-Lee turned it around?
(No.)

Good thing about Totally Scott-Lee: it's the best pop TV show of 2005.

Bad thing about Totally Scott-Lee: we keep missing it. But what we have seen is amazing.

The show let viewers watch Lisa crying when she's told about the Number 23 midweek for her last single. Her response? "BUT WE GOT B-LIST AT CAPITAL!!"

On one hand you shouldn't really laugh at someone finding out that they are, in many ways, on the verge of losing their job.

On the other hand, if someone is unutterably crap at their job, and if their response to getting the sack is to start a-wailin' and a-hollerin' at the complete injustice of it all, and if their next move is to take no notice of the fact that they've been sacked and to continue doing the job anyway to total indifference from all concerned while filming a TV show about how very rubbish they are... Well, it's still not funny, because it's bordering on mental illness.

Memo to Lisa Scott Lee: YOU ARE NOT A GRIZZLED OLD COP IN A BAD 1980S TV MOVIE. YOU WILL NOT 'GET YOUR MAN' AFTER YOU HAVE 'HANDED IN YOUR BADGE' WHILE 'OPERATING OUTSIDE THE LAW'. YOU ARE A TRAGIC IPSWICH ROAD SWEEPER WHO HITS RETIREMENT AGE AND SPENDS THE REST OF HIS DAYS WANDERING THE STREETS PICKING UP BITS OF S**T OFF THE GROUND BECAUSE HE 'MISSES THE COMPANY'.

On a serious note.

Lisa's new single is called 'Electric'. It flirts with brilliance, but at the crucial point is sick all down brilliance's nice new t-shirt.

Let's see what the fun-loving kids on the Popjustice messageboard have to say about Lisa's comeback.

"That cover is awful. That font doesn't work and the leading is off."

"She needs a LOGO. Not 'LISA SCOTT LEE' written across the front."

"The font is just rubbish."

"A bit s**t really."

"The font looks terrible and the picture looks really fake & awkward."
