Newlyweds update

LISA SCOTT-LEE is about to sell the rights to broadcast her wedding to MTV. The former STEPS singer and her dancer fiancé JOHNNY SHENTALL will pocket £250,000 for a reality style docu-soap about their first year as a married couple.
The show is based on American Newlyweds, a fly-on-the-wall series following singers JESSICA SIMPSON and hubby NICK LACHEY after they tied the knot in the US last year. An insider told me: “It will be a British version of MTV’s Newlyweds. Lisa and Johnny have a huge group of celebrity friends so there’ll be a great showbiz turnout for the actual ceremony.”
All the other members of Steps, Johnny’s pals from the former HEAR’SAY and PETE WATERMAN are expected to attend the August do. And LIBERTY X will perform at the wedding as a favour from singer MICHELLE HEATON who is dating Lisa’s brother, Pop Idol finalist ANDY SCOTT-LEE.
MTV are only days away from sealing the deal. Lisa and Johnny have agreed exclusive access to their honeymoon and the rights to film them for the first year after they wed.

Faye appeared on "Big Brothers' Little Brother" on Channel 4 earlier this evening, defending housemate Daniel who is nominated this week.

Lisa signs new deal

Lisa Scott-Lee has signed her new solo deal and is now with 'Boss records', according to a songwriters' website. The site also mentions her forthcoming single, 'Sunshine', and also contains a remix of 'Back in time' in the discography.
The news is yet to be confirmed by the official site.

Rumour has it Lisa and Johnny will be appearing on MTV's "Newlyweds UK", a show which will follow the couple around preparing for their wedding. She also plans to relaunch her solo career during the show. More news as we get it.

STEPS to reform?

According to the 'Daily Star' and 'Ananova', a STEPS reform may be on the cards.
The Daily Star claims Faye Tozer has been trying to get the band, who split in 2001, back together. But Scott Lee claims she prefers being a solo artist, although she is yet to have a chart hit. Faye said: "I really think Steps have more to achieve and I'd love the group to do more songs together. But Lisa isn't keen as she's enjoying being a solo artist. We just need to convince her."
However, Faye's friend Carrie claims the rumours are untrue and told Faye's fans on the official website that Faye had not mentioned any plans to reform.
So is the Daily Star talking nonsense? It does raise the question, "What made them think a STEPS reunion was likely...?" - something must have planted the ideas in their heads. As for convincing Lisa... here's hoping!
